Hampton Inn & Suites LAX El Segundo

I stayed here for three months on a work trip, and it was a great experience. The staff were always available and genuinely helpful with anything I needed. I opted for weekly housekeeping, and they did a phenomenal job keeping my room spotless every time. The location is excellent—just three minutes from the airport, which made it very convenient, especially since I had family and friends flying in and out throughout the summer. Traffic can get a little congested leaving the hotel in the mornings, but it’s easy to access all the major roads around Los Angeles. As a runner, I also found it to be a great spot for evening runs once the area quieted down after work hours. There are plenty of dining options nearby in El Segundo, and the beach is only a short 15-minute drive away. Overall, a clean, convenient, and well-run property—perfect for both long stays and quick trips.

We actually stayed here as a staycation stay, booked through Resort pass ( a first time experience). We came in on a red eye from Hawaii, arriving 6 am ... Blearily eyed and so tired ( and smelly). Wonderful to get into a hotel room at 9 am, and be able to take a good restful sleep, followed by a refreshing hot shower Comfortable bed, quiet room Nice shampoos and soaps .. fragrance free !! Treated well by staff, even though it wasn't a usual night stay. Great location. 10 minutes from LAX.

This is my go-to hotel when flying in to LAX. Everything is perfect for me. The prices are so reasonable that I am just able to book a suite every time, which gives me a huge room, a couch to open up my suitcase on, and a big work station to set up my laptop. The bathroom and shower arrangement is perfect for me. This visit surprised me by the addition of a new perk. At check-in, they gave me a bunch of snacks such as cookies and granola, as well as bottled water and even cans of Diet Coke. As I had always previously ended up buying some Diet Coke out of the vending machines in previous visits, this new perk was appreciated. The free WiFi for Hilton honors members works well. I don't take advantage of the free breakfast at the hotel. I'm sure it's fine, I just absolutely LOVE going to the IHOP that's an easy walk down the street, and having a huge breakfast made to order. It was the proximity to my favorite breakfast restaurant that led me to this hotel the very first time. There is also an In-N-Out Burger, Five Guys, and a large grocery store within walking distance. The hotel is located right along a VERY busy street, and the noise from the vehicles does make it a little awkward if you have a room that faces that way. However, as the hour gets later in the evenings, the traffic dies down. In the middle of the night, there was essentially no noise from traffic at all. If you want to go to bed early and you are sensitive to noise, perhaps ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. The heating and cooling system in my room was very responsive. The temperature out in the hallway and the lobby seemed too cool to me, but I was able to get my room temp set exactly where I wanted it to be. My current visit is in December, and in the lobby they had just the right Christmas music playing, as well as a nicely decorated tree. The staff member at the front desk this morning must truly be a morning person. She was genuinely smiling as she worked, in a way that reminded me of an elf at Christmas time! I absolutely will stay at this hotel again in the future.

Room was decently clean. The shower had some red mold but pretty minor and expected in humid climate. Breakfast was great and had lots of options for us and the kids. I also liked that the parking was in a secure garage.

I stayed here for one night last week while traveling for work. After staying at hotels in downtown LA in the past, I can confidently say this location is a much better option. The hotel is about ten minutes from the airport and appeared clean and well maintained. My room was quiet and comfortable, though the window was quite small—this may have just been specific to my room. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The only downside was the fitness center in the morning: the temperature wouldn’t go below 70 degrees, which felt far too warm for a workout. I’m not sure why it’s set that high, but it’s something that should be addressed. Also not a fan of the $30 parking fee. They said that I should have added that to my reservation but there was no option to do that on the Hilton site so I had to park in front, wait in line, get physical keys and then use them to get in/out of the garage. Finally, I checked in late (7pm) and asked for late checkout.. They were kind enough to offer it for me but then when I double checked (and thankfully I did!) when I got my keys they said they had no record of the request. Thankfully I had the name of the person I spoke with on the chat through the app but really? They should be better organized.

Front desk guy, Rene, very helpful. All the front desk people and the food service people made us feel comfortable. This is our second visit to this hotel. Rooms are clean and logically organized with everything we need and no unnecessary stuff. Parking is $30 per day but so convenient. The location is airport so views of planes. Busy streets but no shops. Gotta drive or uber i guess. But three little golf courses nearby affordable and fun. I am so happy we came here again.

From now on anytime I fly out of LAX I will always stay in el segundo at the Hampton. The staff was very friendly , knowledgeable, accommodating to their best capability. My room was clean , knowing because of delays I would arrive late , I called ahead and they assured me I’d be able to check in . Any questions I had they answered . I enjoyed the convenience of a BOA branch across the street .Breakfast was great, wonderful variety .pool and gym were nice , laundry room was very clean , I can tell that everyone at this property puts forth their best efforts in treating patrons . The bartender was kind enough to let me have a glass to take to my room . She also makes a great Pinot Grigio spritz

Located near the airport which seemed like a good idea, but traffic is terrible in the underpass tunnel to get to the hotel. We had to get creative when driving in and taking side streets. Hotel is clean and offers an indoor pool which loked milky, also a gym, and the best part is the daily breakfast buffet which served different hot options. Staff was welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking is under the building and we were able to park there for an extra daily fee.
